Privacy Policy
This document describes how PROVIN.LV ("we", "service") processes personal data, what cookies are used, and how you can accept or reject non-essential analytics and first-touch (UTM) data storage. Legal identity and controller details are stated at the start of this document.

2. What data we process
Order data may include name (if provided), email, phone, VIN or license plate, listing URL (if provided), free-form message and payment metadata (processed by Stripe according to its policy). Technical server logs may be used for security and stability. The homepage may display curated public Google reviews (without extra tracking scripts for that block).
3. Purposes and legal basis
Contract performance and order processing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); legitimate interests such as security and error prevention (Art. 6(1)(f)); analytics and UTM storage only after explicit consent via the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Cookies and essential functions
Essential functions (e.g. language preference, session, security) may use cookies or similar technologies without separate consent where objectively necessary to provide the service.
5. Analytics and first-touch data (after consent)
If you accept “analytics” in the cookie banner, we may store limited first-visit information: path, HTTP referrer (if available), and marketing parameters from the link (UTM). The goal is to understand where visitors come from (e.g. TikTok, YouTube, search), not to track individuals across all third-party platforms. This data is not sold.
6. Third parties
Payments: Stripe. Hosting: e.g. Vercel. Vercel Web Analytics collects aggregated visit data for all visits. Google Analytics 4 and TikTok Pixel load only if you consent to analytics; if an ID is not configured, the related scripts are not loaded. 7. Retention
Order and customer data are kept as long as needed for service delivery and legal requirements. Analytics/first-touch cookie lifetime is limited (typically up to 180 days) unless stated otherwise.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR you may access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and request portability where applicable. Complaints may be filed with the supervisory authority (in Latvia — DVI).
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be indicated on the site or in the cookie banner if needed.
