Privacy Policy
This document describes how the service provider PROVIN.LV ("we", "the service") processes personal data, which cookies are used, and how you can accept or reject non-essential analytics and first-touch (UTM) data storage. 1. Controller
The personal data controller is PROVIN.LV; the legal entity and full details are stated at the start of this document. Contact details: the email and WhatsApp listed in the website footer.
2. What data we process
In connection with an order: name (if provided), email, phone, VIN or licence plate, listing URL (if provided), free-form message, and payment metadata (processed by the payment processor Stripe under its own policy). When using the site: technical server logs (for example IP address and request time) may be used for security and availability. The homepage may show curated, publicly available Google reviews (without extra tracking scripts for that block).
3. Purposes and legal basis
Performance of a contract and order processing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Legitimate interests: site security and error prevention (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics and first-touch (UTM) storage only after your voluntary consent via the cookie banner (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Cookies and essential functions
Essential functions (for example language preference, session operation, security) may use cookies or similar technologies without separate consent where they are objectively necessary to provide the service. A list of such cookies can be provided on request.
5. Analytics and first-touch data (after consent)
If you accept "analytics" in the cookie banner, we may store limited first-visit information: site path, HTTP referrer if available, and marketing parameters from the link (UTM: source, medium, campaign, etc.). The goal is to understand where visitors come from (for example TikTok, YouTube, search), not to track individuals across all third-party platforms. This data is not sold.
6. Third parties
Payments: Stripe. Website hosting: your chosen provider (for example Vercel). Vercel Web Analytics collects aggregated visit and page-view data for all visits (first-party hosting statistics). Google Analytics 4 and TikTok Pixel load only if you consent to "analytics" in the cookie banner; if the relevant ID is not configured, those scripts are not loaded. 7. Retention
Order and customer data are kept as long as needed to deliver the service and meet legal requirements (accounting, disputes). The lifetime of analytics / first-touch cookies is limited (typically up to 180 days) unless stated otherwise.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability where applicable. You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Latvia: DVI).
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be indicated on the site or in the cookie banner if needed.
